Return, Refund, Cancellation & Warranty Policy – BASICS
At BASICS, operated by Mayamagic Inventions Private Limited, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and a reliable customer experience. Our policies are designed to be transparent, fair, and protective of both our customers and our business operations.
1. Return Policy (1-Day Return Window)
We maintain a strict 1-day return policy. Customers must initiate a return request on the same day of delivery of the product.
- Any request raised after this period shall not be eligible for return, refund, or replacement (except under warranty claims).
- To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- The product must be returned in original packaging with all tags intact
- A valid proof of purchase must be provided

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
2. Return Shipping Charges
In the event of:
- Return, or
- Order cancellation after dispatch
A standard deduction of ₹200 will be applied towards return courier and handling charges.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable:
- Gift Boxes (multi-product bundles)
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants, etc.)
- Personal care products
- Customized or personalized items
- Sale/discounted products
- Gift cards
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
Note: Only the Coffee Beater (if included in a gift box) is covered under warranty. All other items in such bundles are excluded.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery.
- Any issues (damage, defect, wrong item) must be reported on the same day of delivery
- Requests submitted after this period will not be entertained
The company reserves the right to:
- Verify the claim through images/videos
- Approve or reject the request at its sole discretion
5. Replacement Policy
Replacements are subject to verification and approval.
To request a replacement:
- Customers must submit clear photos or videos showing the issue
- Send proof via email or WhatsApp to the support team
Once approved:
- Replacement or corrective action will be arranged
Mayamagic Inventions Pvt. Ltd. reserves the full right to deny replacement requests if they do not meet policy or warranty conditions.
6. Warranty Policy (1-Year Coverage)
At BASICS, we stand behind the quality of our products.
- All products are covered under a default 1-year warranty from the date of delivery
- Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Functional issues under normal usage
Under warranty:
- Customers may contact our support team for assistance
- We will provide:
- Troubleshooting support
- Replacement of parts, or
- Full unit replacement (if required and approved)
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage due to misuse
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Normal wear and tear
7. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation requests must be made within 1 day of placing the order
- Orders already processed or shipped may not be cancelled
The company reserves the right to refuse cancellations once order fulfillment has begun.
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
Customers must:
- Initiate a return (if eligible)
- Place a new order after approval
9. Refund Policy
- Refunds will be processed only after:
- Receipt of returned product
- Successful inspection and approval
If approved:
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 7–10 business days
Please note:
- Banks/payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund
- If the refund is delayed beyond 15 business days, customers should contact support
10. European Union Orders
For orders shipped to the European Union:
- Customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period
- Items must remain unused, in original condition, and properly packaged
11. Company Rights & Final Authority
Mayamagic Inventions Private Limited reserves the right to:
- Reject any return, refund, or replacement request that does not comply with this policy
- Modify, update, or change this policy at any time without prior notice
- Make final decisions in case of disputes
